A taste of island life: shepherding
Join us for a unique island experience! On this bespoke day package you will explore Lismore with us by Land Rover, and venture into the wild with local shepherd Arthur, his sheepdog and Shetland sheep.

Arthur is a well known Liosach (=Lismore resident) and started working as a Highland shepherd when he was a young lad. He has been working with sheep and collie dogs ever since and has been gathering sheep on mountains and hills all over Scotland. He is joined by his trusty dogs Misty, Fly & Tam and will show you the immense skill required by man and dog to herd sheep through the beautiful landscape of Port a Charrain and the abandoned Weaver's Village.

We look forward welcoming you to Lismore!
